Christopher Berger is a retired United States Air Force officer and federal civilian leader whose career spans command and control, air battle management, and weapons systems operations across operational, strategic, and special operations environments. He served in senior leadership and advisory roles, including Director of Staff for the 24th Special Operations Wing and the 505th Command and Control Wing, where he supported operational readiness and advanced warfighter capabilities. Drawing on more than two decades of frontline and operational experience-and nearly four decades of service overall- Berger contributed to the development of command-and-control tactics, operational readiness initiatives, and program advocacy efforts supporting complex, high-tempo missions. His experience spans frontline operations and senior-level assignments, offering a rare perspective on leadership, decision-making, and mission execution. Berger earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Management from Drexel University and received his commission through Air Force ROTC at Saint Joseph's University as a distinguished graduate. He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Weapons Instructor Course, where he was named the Command and Control Division's Outstanding Graduate, and holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Oklahoma. A Master Air Battle Manager with more than 4,500 flight hours in the E-3 AWACS, he has served as a weapons controller, senior director, mission crew commander, instructor, evaluator, and in action officer leadership positions at the Major Command and Pentagon levels.
